"In the music business, music is its own
reward." Cliché and often repeated, maybe, but a phrase held in high regard with all the
members of Temecula based, current country rock
cover band known as 'The Ranch Rockers'. |
|
Spearheaded
in 1998 by founding member and former guitarist
Mike Lucero the band has
weathered a multitude of changes. Opportunity has created adjustments
and everyday living has forced choices but the music is and has remained
the focus. |
|
The Ranch Rockers bring entertainment
like no other to country music and classic rock lovers across many style
and age lines. They combine male and female lead vocals with superior
three part harmonies and musicianship. This arrangement allows them to
cover a wider variety of tunes with their own signature sound while
achieving the familiarity of a song that audiences overwhelmingly
respond to. Whether dancing or just watching, crowds enjoy the full
stage act of a band whose members love what they're doing and do what it
takes to entertain you. |
|
Our instrumental line
up begins with Tom Wiker on drums whose rhythmic syncopation
keeps things solid as a rock, yet relentlessly percolating. Covering
lead guitar, Craig Fenton takes his inspiration from over 35 years of
listening to rock and roll icons and developing a cohesive blend of
genres that make the ballads cool, the country hot and the
rock...well, ROCK! Bridging this pulse is Jamie Moyer on bass whose
seamless, meticulous grooves are sure to set your feet in motion as well
as his infectious stage presence and
impeccable timing. Rounding out
the signature sound is Miff Laracy whose extensive musical journey spans not just instruments and projects but decades and continents. His versatility takes the band to the next level musically and professionally speaking. The band’s crowning jewels, clearly two of
Southern California’s finest, sharing the lead vocal duties are
Gwyn
Sanborn and Sandi Capel.
Their voices blend and complement one another with a quality rarely
achievable beyond close family members. Their
powerful, yet smooth and passionate deliveries make for a superb
contrast to their on stage wit and antics, destined to penetrate and
tickle the thickest of skins. |
|
With this enthusiastic line up, the Ranch Rockers perform year-round for established entertainment venues such as EPIC Entertainment and KFRG 92.9FM as well as local community events like The City of Temecula Summer Concert Series and Monteleone Meadows. The group is also proud and excited to be named the house band for the new stage spectacular, 'Temecula Live!', a country music review in the tradition of the Grand Ole Opry at The Old Town Temecula Community Theater. |
|
Along
with a passion to further nurture their musical development and growth,
the band embraces a simple creed. Continue to gig and cultivate the
local country music venues, as well as broaden their performance radius
into more diverse surrounding markets, all the while delivering the very best
in popular country music. Judging by their tracks, they’re headed in
the right direction. Happy trails! |
